If your vehicle wasn't factory equipped with a USB charging port, add one with a Mechunik USB power port in either a 3' flexible cable, a flip-up fixed plated port or a combo USB/AUX
fixed plate port.

Features and Benefits Of This Product

Some newer model vehicle packages do not come with a USB charging port, leaving the cigarette lighter as the only charging option.
Enjoy the convenience of an additional USB power port for charging your devices.
Three USB port solutions are available:

Three Foot USB Cable:

One end of the cable plugs into the back of your head unit and the other end is a USB port that you can place where ever you want.

Flip-up USB Fixed Port:

One end plugs into the back of your head unit and the other end plugs into the mounting plate.
Three foot total cable length from back of head unit to mounting location.
Mounting plate can be mounted into a location but requires modification (Dremeling of clips to allow the plate to fit raised into an opening. Can me mounted flush if hole cut matches perfectly to the shape of the plate. Glue may be required)

Combination USB/AUX Fixed Port:

Two cables are included (USB/AUX) One end plugs into the back of your headunit and the other ends plugs into the mounting plate.
Three foot total cable length from back of head unit to mounting location.
Mounting plate can be mounted into a location but requires a 30mm x 18mm hole to be made. Mounts slightly raised.

Installation Notes

Installation Difficulty: EASY (Most People Can Do This With Common Household Tools)
Cables with plates on the ends for fixed mounting do not need to be mounted if you plan to move the cable around.
Flip-up plate requires a slight deeming modification to turn it into a raised mountable unit, otherwise it can be mounted flush with a precisely cut hole (same shape as plate) and some glue.
Combination plate requires a 30mm x 18mm hole to mount.
Please note that Flip-up plate is 40mm deep WITHOUT cable installed and combination plate is 35mm WITHOUT cable installed.

Notes / Warnings

This product only provides power from the USB port. It does not provide a signal to the radio.
The customer is responsible for determining if they require this product, measuring the length of cable they need, accessing their head unit for installation, and a mounting location for the cable or plate (including how to mount it or modify it for mounting).
All cables are 3 feet long and we do not sell extensions.
